| Compared to '99, I spent more time this year just enjoying the ride. For instance, I found myself watching for riders who needed help. I fixed a few flats and adjusted a derailer. It was fun and I made some new friends. One gay boy felt so indebted he agreed to come by my tent the next morning to help me color coordinate my cycling outfit. | ||
