from sports medicine, kept me on the ride and without him
I may not have finished. He worked out knots in my hamstrings
and taught me how to stretch.
Glenne
is a friend of ours who worked motorcycle crew: the team
that kept us from getting lost or run over by cars. It was
always great to see her smiling face along the route.
Food
crew, Bill and Nora from Minnesota, served us firsts, seconds
and sometimes thirds. Their son was on the ride.
Beth
was the RN on Day 2 who caught me on the verge of dehydration
and helped me recuperate (and do my penance) in the pit's
mission.
